First cover finished

Jeiiii... finally finished the laptop cover. What do you think ??

The first cover is finished so now I´am about to start making the first laptop sleeve :)

The laptop sleeve project

My latest project is making sleeves/covers for laptops. I have been wanting to do this for a very long time and finally now I started to really work on it. I have been studying all kinds of textiles both old Icelandic/Scandinavian patterns as well as Peruvian Baltic and from American Indians, because I really wanted to make the front piece of the sleeve either woven or embroidered. Now after about 2 weeks of putting together all kinds of patterns I have started to cross-stitch them onto a thick canvas.

The rest of the sleeve will however be in leather. Here is a glimpse of the first pattern being made...
